Recognized by UNESCO’s World Heritage Tentative List in 2009, Aphrodisias earned its place as a World Heritage Site in 2017.
Hierapolis Ancient City and its extraordinary travertines are UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage sites. Here, you can swim in the Cleopatra Pool’s therapeutic thermal waters amidst dazzling white travertines composed of calcium carbonate, sulfate, sodium, iron, potassium, and magnesium. These healing waters offer relief from various ailments. You’ll also explore Pamukkale-Hierapolis, located within the Republic of Turkey’s territory.
Ephesus stands as one of Turkey’s most popular destinations, boasting the country’s most famous ruins. It is home to the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and is among the First Seven Churches of Christianity mentioned in the Bible. This well-preserved ancient Greek-Roman city is a testament to Turkey’s rich heritage. In addition, the House of Virgin Mary, declared a pilgrimage site by the Vatican in 1961, adds to Ephesus’ spiritual significance.
DAY1: Ephesus Tour
We will pick you up from your hotel in Istanbul to take you to the Istanbul Airport for the flight of Izmir. When you arrive at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, You will be transferred to Ephesus. We will meet you in Ephesus.
First, We will pass through the verdant and picturesque countryside before arriving at our first stop which is The House of Virgin Mary. Afterwards we reach House of Virgin Mary. It is known that St. John brought the Virgin Mary to Ephesus 4 or 6 years after the death of Jesus.
Second, After The House of Virgin Mary, we will then head on to the next destination which will be the Ancient City of Ephesus; the tour here shall be a walking tour and will take you through one of the most magnificent archaeological sites in the entire world. You will be able to see the Odeon, The Fountain of Trajan, the steam baths of Scholastic, the Temple of Hadrian, and course lets’ not forget the very impressive library of Ephesus.
The library is adorned with columns and statues. The Grand Theatre, where Saint Paul preached, is the largest in antiquity with a capacity of 24.000 seats. Then We will pass through the Arcadian Way where Mark Anthony and Cleopatra once rode in procession.
Finally, Then we will continue on the tour and head on for our next stop which is the Temple of Artemis (Diana), this outstanding temple was built in honor of the Greek Goddess of hunting, wild nature, and fertility, deemed as one of the Seven wonders of the ancient world. The temple of Artemis used to be the largest marble temple in the ancient Greek world since it was four times as big as the Parthenon in Athens, Greece.
We will end the tour about 4:30 pm.Afterwards we will transfer you to the hotel where it is in Kusadasi.
DAY2: Aphrodisias Tour
We will pick you up from the hotel around 10 o’clock in the morning and set off towards Aphrodisias and our tour begins. The places we will visit in Aphrodisias Ancient City are Aphrodisias Museum, Sebasteion (Temple of Emperors), South Agora, Hadrian’s Bath, Bouleuterion and Aphrodite Temple. Our tour will end around 16:30. We will then transfer you to your hotel in Pamukkale.
DAY3: Pamukkale Tour
At around 10 am, we will pick you up from your hotel, commencing our journey to Pamukkale.
The entrance to Pamukkale consists of two gates, the North and the South. We will begin our tour from the North gate. Initially, we will explore the Ancient City of Hierapolis with our knowledgeable tour guide. Within this remarkable city, our guide will provide insights into the development of the ancient theater, allowing you to witness the Grand Theatre. You’ll also visit the Temple of Apollo, where you’ll learn about its rich history from our guide. Following this, you’ll have the opportunity to see the Nymphaeum (Monumental Fountain), Plutonium, Christian Basilica, Necropolis, and the Martyrium of St. Philip, with our guide providing historical context.
After our comprehensive exploration of Hierapolis, our tour guide will grant you approximately 3 hours of free time. During this period, we recommend visiting the awe-inspiring White Travertines, a Natural Wonder of the World, where you can walk and swim. Additionally, you can enjoy the Cleopatra Pool, accessible for a small fee.
Upon the completion of our “3 Days Private Ephesus, Aphrodisias, and Pamukkale Package Tour,” we will arrange your transfer to Denizli Cardak Airport for your flight to Istanbul. Subsequently, we will provide private transportation to your hotel in Istanbul.
