The ancient city of Priene, credited as the pioneer of the first planned urban system, was reportedly established by the Ionians. Originally, Priene stood as a formidable coastal city with the sea at its doorstep. Its prosperity relied heavily on maritime trade, facilitated by the Naulokhos port, which has now been filled with the silt of the Büyük Menderes River, making it a site worth visiting.

Miletus, a city with a history dating back to 3500 BC, bears Hellenistic and Roman Period remnants. During the era of the Ionians, who dominated maritime trade in the Aegean and Mediterranean around 600 BC, Miletus became the capital of the Ionian World. It played a pivotal role in the birth of philosophy, thanks to its cultural interactions, respect for freedoms, and robust economic prosperity.

For mythology enthusiasts, the Ancient City of Didyma is a must-visit, renowned for the Temple of Apollo. Within its ancient confines, you’ll encounter revered deities like Zeus, Hades, Poseidon, Athena, Demeter, Aphrodite, and Hermes, all awaiting your exploration.

DAY1: Pamukkale-Hierapolis Tour

Your journey begins with a 05:00 am hotel or pick-up point transfer, heading to the airport for a 07:00 flight from Istanbul to Denizli Cardak Airport. Upon arrival at Cardak Airport, our transfer staff will greet you, marking the start of your Pamukkale adventure.

Pamukkale’s entrance encompasses two gates, North and South, and our tour commences from the North gate. Our knowledgeable Tour Guide will lead you through the Ancient City of Hierapolis. You’ll gain insights into the development of this ancient theater and witness the awe-inspiring Grand Theatre. We’ll also explore The Temple Of Apollo, where you’ll hear its rich history.

Subsequently, you’ll have the opportunity to discover other remarkable sites such as The Nymphaeum (Monumental Fountain), Plutonium, Christian Basilica, Necropolis, and Martyrium of St. Philip. Our expert tour guide will provide detailed historical context for each of these locations.

Following the Hierapolis tour, our Tour guide will grant you approximately 3 hours of free time. During this interval, we highly recommend a visit to the White Travertines, a natural wonder of the world. Here, you can stroll and even swim in its captivating pools. Additionally, don’t miss the chance to take a dip in the Cleopatra pool, which entails a nominal fee for entry.

We will end the tour about 4:30 pm.Afterwards we will transfer you to the hotel where it is in Kusadasi.

DAY2: Ephesus Tour

We will pick you from the hotel around 10 am and our Ephesus Tour begins. First, We will pass through the verdant and picturesque countryside before arriving at our first stop which is The House of Virgin Mary. Afterwards we reach House of Virgin Mary. It is known that St. John brought the Virgin Mary to Ephesus 4 or 6 years after the death of Jesus.

Second, After The House of Virgin Mary, we will then head on to the next destination which will be the Ancient City of Ephesus; the tour here shall be a walking tour and will take you through one of the most magnificent archaeological sites in the entire world. You will be able to see the Odeon, The Fountain of Trajan, the steam baths of Scholastic, the Temple of Hadrian, and course lets’ not forget the very impressive library of Ephesus.

The library is adorned with columns and statues. The Grand Theatre, where Saint Paul preached, is the largest in antiquity with a capacity of 24.000 seats. Then We will pass through the Arcadian Way where Mark Anthony and Cleopatra once rode in procession.

Finally, Then we will continue on the tour and head on for our next stop which is the Temple of Artemis (Diana), this outstanding temple was built in honor of the Greek Goddess of hunting, wild nature, and fertility, deemed as one of the Seven wonders of the ancient world. The temple of Artemis used to be the largest marble temple in the ancient Greek world since it was four times as big as the Parthenon in Athens, Greece.

When The Tour ends we will take you to hotel where you stay in Kusadasi.

DAY3: PRIENE-MILETOS AND DIDYMA TOUR

We will pick you up from the hotel about 9 am and we will drive to Priene and our tour begins. You will enjoy visiting the following places with our tour guide.

Temple of Demeter: It is one of the oldest temples of the Ancient City of Priene and is dedicated to Demeter and Kore, goddesses of fertility.

Temple of Athena: The ancient settlement is one of the oldest and most important structures of Priene.

Priene Theater: Despite the changes made in the Roman era, the theater has preserved the Hellenistic tradition, it is important in this respect. The theater’s B.C. It is known that it was built in the 3rd century.

Bouleuterion: Along with the theatre, it is the best preserved building in Priene.

Other important places we will visit are Temple of Zeus, Egyptian Temple, Alexander the Great’s house, Byzantine church, Temple of Apollo, Temple of Artemis, Roman Baths, Temple of Apollon

DAY4: IZMIR TOUR

We start this tour with the Beth-Israel Synagogue, the construction of which was started in 1905 with the edict of Sultan Abdulhamid II in the Karatas district of İzmir and opened to service in 1907. This synagogue is the Biggest synagogue in İzmir. Afterwards, we will go to place called ‘’Elevator’’ by passing the Dario Moreno street, which is named after the Dario Moreno who is Izmir lover and artist of Jewish origin. Our next stop is Havra Street, where Small Synagogues are located. Some of the synagogues on this street are 400 years old.

This place is close to the Historical Kemeraltı Bazaar and there is a transition from the Havra Street to the Kemeraltı Bazaar. We will visit another historical place, Agora of Izmir. Founded in the 4th century BC, the Agora was rebuilt with the support of the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius after the earthquake in 178 AD. Our last stop is Kadıfekale, which is also a historical place.
