WHAT WE DO?
Our tour commences at the Izmir Clock Tower, constructed in 1901 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Ottoman Sultan II. Abdulhamid’s ascension. Afterward, we’ll visit the ‘Elevator,’ passing through Dario Moreno Street, named after Izmir’s Jewish-origin artist and enthusiast, Dario Moreno. Our journey continues to Kemeraltı Bazaar, a vibrant district shaped by land reclamation and new developments between 1650-1670, bustling with commercial activities.
The Agora of Izmir, established in the 4th century BC, was reconstructed with support from Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius after the 178 AD earthquake. Our final destination is Kadıfekale, another historic site.
