WHAT WE DO?

We begin our journey with a visit to the Izmir Clock Tower, constructed in 1901 to commemorate the 25th year of Ottoman Sultan II. Abdulhamid’s reign. Following this, we’ll proceed to an area known as the ‘’Elevator’’, passing through Dario Moreno Street, named after the Izmir-loving artist of Jewish origin, Dario Moreno. Our next destination is Kemeraltı Bazaar, an area that has expanded since 1650-1670 by reclaiming land from the sea and establishing new residential and commercial zones.

Moreover, Kemeraltı is not only a bustling bazaar but also a vibrant district of high commercial activity. Our exploration continues at the historical Agora of Izmir, originally founded in the 4th century BC and reconstructed with support from Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius after the earthquake of 178 AD. Our final visit will be to Kadıfekale, another significant historical site.
