DAY 1: ATHENS

Upon your arrival in Athens, you will be greeted by a representative who will transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax and explore at your leisure.

DAY 2: ATHENS CITY TOUR  – Morning Sightseeing Tour

Our journey begins at the Zappion and Royal Garden, a hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Athens. This tranquil oasis offers a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. The Zappion building itself is a stunning architectural masterpiece, with its neoclassical design and grandeur.

The next stop on the Athens city tour is Panathenaic Stadium, the birthplace of the modern Olympic Games. The history and significance of Meteora date back to the 14th century when the first monasteries were built by monks seeking spiritual isolation and refuge from the expanding Ottoman Empire. Today, these monasteries stand as a testament to the enduring spirit of Orthodox Christianity and the remarkable human determination to conquer the inaccessible.

The six remaining monasteries of Meteora, out of an original twenty-four, continue to attract pilgrims, tourists, and scholars from around the world. The monasteries not only offer a glimpse into the religious and cultural heritage of Greece but also provide a breathtaking juxtaposition of man-made wonders against the natural beauty of the region.

The Monastery of the Holy Trinity, or in Greek, the Monastery of Agia Triada, is one of the most photographed monuments of Meteora. It is also among the most difficult to reach in terms of access. It is simple but still a bit more stressful than other monasteries. Those who try to go up the steep but short path and stairs enjoy the most panoramic views of the surrounding cliffs and the town of Kalabaka below! After your visit to Meteora, you will journey back to Athens, passing through the towns of Trikala, Lamia, and Thermopylae. There will be a short stop at the statue of Leonidas before reaching the Kammena Vourla area. In the evening, you will arrive back in Athens.

DAY 5: FERRY FROM ATHENS TO NAXOS – Transfer to Piraeus Port

In the morning, you will be transferred to Piraeus port for your departure to Naxos. Departure of your ferry at (07:25-12:30) / Economy Class. You’ll discover the best of Greece, including the iconic Naxos and Santorini islands. Naxos, the largest of the Cyclades islands, Traveling by ferry allows you to enjoy scenic views of the Aegean Sea and experience the traditional Greek maritime lifestyle, and upon your arrival, our representative will transfer you to your selected hotel in Naxos.

Itinerary: After breakfast, you will be transferred to the port for your departure to Santorini at (12:50-14:50) / Economy Class. Enjoy the scenic views along the way. Ferries are available for both passengers and vehicles. Upon arrival, our representative will transfer you to your selected hotel in Santorini. While Santorini may steal the spotlight, Naxos holds its own when it comes to hidden gems.

DAY 8: HOLIDAY IN SANTORINI  – Enjoy a Relaxing Day

Traveling by ferry allows you to enjoy scenic views of the Aegean Sea and experience the traditional Greek maritime lifestyle.  Upon arrival, you will be transferred back to your hotel. DAY 10: ATHENS – Departure
