Today, you will visit the archaeological site of Delphi. It was once considered the center of the world according to Greek mythology and was renowned for its Oracle. Home to iconic landmarks such as the Acropolis in Athens and the ancient city of Delphi, Mainland Greece is a treasure trove of archaeological wonders waiting to be explored.
Delphi, situated on the slopes of Mount Parnassus, is another historical gem in Greece. Explore the ancient ruins, including the Temple of Apollo and the Theatre of Delphi. You will also have the chance to explore the Archaeological Museum, home to the famous statue called “The Bronze Charioteer.” After you visit Delphi, you will depart for Athens.
On the way back, we will take a photo break at another notable historical site in the region, Thermopylae. The encounter between the Greek Spartans and the Persians at Thermopylae is significant in ancient Greek history. It symbolizes the resistance of a small band of warriors against overwhelming odds and has been romanticized and celebrated in literature and popular culture. In this battle, Leonidas, the Spartan king, and his soldiers bravely fought against the Persians until they were outnumbered and defeated.

Early in the morning, you will depart from Athens, and our first stop will be the Corinth Canal. With its strategic location between the mainland and the Peloponnese, Corinth holds its own historical allure, particularly with the iconic Corinth Canal. Visitors can walk across the canal’s pedestrian bridges, taking in the breathtaking views of the waterway that connects the Aegean and Ionian seas.
Next, you will visit the renowned Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, known for its impressive acoustics. After that, you will have a quick visit to Nafplion town before continuing to the archaeological site of Mycenae, where you can explore the fascinating Tomb of Agamemnon. From there, you will journey to Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games, passing by the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis along the way. In Olympia, you will enjoy dinner and spend the night.
Overview:
On the third day, we will depart for Epidauros; on the way, we will visit the Corinth Canal, an artificial waterway connecting the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf. This engineering marvel offers a unique sightseeing opportunity as you can witness ships passing through the narrow water passage.
The next visit will be to the Ancient Epidauros Theater and the ancient city. After Epidauros sightseeing, we will continue to drive Mycenae. On the way, you will quickly visit Nafplion town before continuing to the archaeological site of Mycenae, where you can explore the fascinating Tomb of Agamemnon. From there, you will drive back to Athens overnight.
DAY 5: ATHENS / AIRPORT
On your last day, depending on your flight departure time, you will be transferred to Athens airport. Take with you the wonderful memories of your Greek adventure.
