WHY SHOULD YOU SEE ANKARA?

Anıtkabir, the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of Modern Turkey and the Father of the Turks, is located in Ankara. Ankara Castle in Ulus district will allow you to see the city from above. To the south of Ankara Castle is the Anatolian Civilizations Museum, which includes two restored Ottoman buildings. Ankara is currently located within the territory of the Republic of Turkey.

CONCEPT OF THE TOUR

You will be picked up from the hotel or pick-up point at 06:30 am, and we’ll be on our way to the airport. You will travel towards Ankara Esenboğa Airport with a 08:30 flight from Istanbul. After landing at the Ankara Esenboğa airport, our transfer staff will meet you. Afterwards, You will begin your journey to Ankara city center.

WHAT WE DO?

We will start our tour with the city center.First we visit Kizilay Square and Street which is the meeting point of Ankara residents and is located right in the middle of the city. Afterwards, we go to Ulus district to visit Ankara Castle, which is under the auspices of states such as the Romans, Byzantines, Seljuq Dynasty and Ottomans. After taking a break, we will visit the Anatolian Civilizations Museum, perhaps the most important museum in Anatolia, accompanied by our guide.

In this museum, you can find priceless Paleolithic and Neolithic period artifacts as well as many pieces belonging to the Hittite, Urartian and Phrygian civilizations. Our next stop will be Anıtkabir. Anıtkabir is the eternal resting place of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and carries traces of the Hittite, Greek, Seljuq and Ottoman cultures that ruled throughout the history of today’s Turkey during the construction of the Anıtkabir.
