Ephesus Day Tour from Kusadasi (Private)
Day Tour Turkey
WHY SHOULD YOU SEE EPHESUS?
WHAT WE DO?
First, we’ll journey through the verdant and picturesque countryside before arriving at our initial destination: The House of Virgin Mary. It’s known that St. John brought Virgin Mary to Ephesus 4 or 6 years after Jesus’ death.
Next, after visiting The House of Virgin Mary, we’ll proceed to our following destination, the Ancient City of Ephesus. This walking tour guides you through one of the world’s most magnificent archaeological sites. You’ll explore the Odeon, The Fountain of Trajan, the steam baths of Scholastic, the Temple of Hadrian, and of course, the impressive Ephesus Library adorned with columns and statues. The Grand Theatre, where Saint Paul preached, boasts a capacity of 24,000 seats, making it the largest in antiquity. We’ll then traverse the Arcadian Way, once graced by the procession of Mark Anthony and Cleopatra.
Finally, our journey continues to the Temple of Artemis (Diana), an exceptional monument dedicated to the Greek Goddess of hunting, wild nature, and fertility. Once hailed as one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world, this temple was four times larger than the Parthenon in Athens, Greece.
Upon completion of our Ephesus Day Tour from Kusadasi (Private), we will transport you back to Kusadasi.
